A story by Andrew Pass, Director and owner of John Pass Jewellers...

"Our journey began 58 years ago, when a sales representative visited my grandfather with a collection of watches. As a watchmaker by trade he eagerly examined each piece laid before him. He was immediately struck by the quality of the watches, and when the representative asked if he would like to buy the range, he longed to, but he simply wasn’t in a position to take the full collection at that time. Back then John Pass was only a very small business. Understanding this, and recognising the qualities and values of our family business, the sales representative allowed my grandfather to just purchase a couple of watches for stock.

A few months later, the representative returned to see how things had gone. My grandfather proudly told him that the watches had sold, and he was keen to see the collection again. He purchased a few more pieces, and once again, months later, the representative returned and we expanded our selection yet again.

Our customers loved the product, and so did my grandfather. These were quality Swiss-made watches at an attainable price point, and he believed in them wholeheartedly. That belief grew into a strong, enduring relationship that lasted for many years.

The brand he was introduced to all those years ago was TUDOR. Today, 58 years later, we are delighted to announce the return of TUDOR to our Crewe showroom. It gives me immense pride to rekindle this partnership, honour our history, and pay tribute to my grandfather’s legacy."
